SunBreeze will be booked during those dates, with skydivers.

If not, I want my room first.

Blue Tang Inn may work as well. I still like Holiday Hotel for solo women.

Mayan Princess is a great place for solo women. Good security at night. It's just not the ideal place for meeting other guests. It can be done, it's just not ideal.

It's the perfect location for diving with Amigos. Lots of the Amigos divers stay at Mayan and so you could be meeting guests that way too.

It has a dock out front with loungers for sunbathing that keeps you out of the beach traffic. It's also perfectly located for getting to all the nightlife.

Ah yes... this is true about the dates, Chloe. My next choice would be Spindrift. It's basic, in town, and reasonably priced.

You could walk on the street to Changes In Lattitude - that would be safer than the beach - all you would have to do is dodge the taxis - or maybe ride in one. I think they now charge $7.50 BX - which is still CHEAP!
Although others may disagree - I think the biggest danger to solo women is drinking too much and making bad decissions.

I totally agree with you. I always take a cab home if I'm alone and it's after 10 or 11pm. Not that I've ever been bothered (does getting hit on by rastatutes count?) or threatened or anything. But...it just seems like the smart thing to do. Better safe than sorry.

Agree with Spindrifts, I used to go down solo several times a year and that's where I stayed. The staff is wonderful too. You'll save some money then for the diving and trips.
See you in Feb.

You are all forgetting a key thing on Changes in Latitudes the great breakfast ha ha

As to the walk it really is not too far - beach it early evening or while sun is up and road after dark as it is well lit.
